Both films rely on â€Å"jump scares† to entice its audience, but its more about the hunt than anything else. Toying with your prey with little execution seems to be the running theme of The Purge. There are many incidents that occurred and many people could be blamed for the deaths of the two lovers. However, I believe that Friar Laurence is the one character most at fault for the tragedy that occurred.
